Featuring the spectacular Brisbane City Big Band conducted by David Jones. Bold and energetic and thoroughly entertaining, there is no better way to spend your Sunday afternoon than with a picnic in one of our finest parks by the Brisbane River at New Farm. Playing jazz standards, swing classics and blues brothers hits, be entertained by the extraordinary showmanship of this exciting big band.

Featuring Brisbane Municipal Concert Band conducted by David Jones with special guests Les Philharmonistes des Pays de Vaucluse, a 40 piece concert band from the south of France, this promises to be a very special afternoon's entertainment. A concert band from France experiencing a very Australian afternoon at New Farm Park. Please join us in a warm welcome to Brisbane.

Latin Celebration

Featuring Brisbane Municipal Concert Band conducted by David Jones. A lively afternoon concert with a latin twist to welcome to start of summer. Put a rose in your hair, kick off your shoes and dance barefoot on the lawn in front of the bandstand at Mt Coot-tha.

Pack up a picnic lunch and wander down to the park on the river and listen to the exciting sounds of BMCB and trombone quartet Wot4. A great percussion section featuring Gerry Lewis will get your feet tapping, the golden vocals of Amanda Mooney will put you in a mellow mood with a treat in store with 'WOT4'

Sunday in the park - New Farm Park

This band has a tradition of entertaining the people of Brisbane for over 100 years. Given a new sense of purpose by conductor David Jones, spurred on by star percussionist Gerry Lewis and energised by vocalist Amanda Mooney, BMCB will entertain and delight you with a selection of favourites for a lazy Sunday by the river at New Farm. Making their debut, sensational 4 piece trombone quartet 'Wot4' will dazzle with their sense of fun and wit. Don't miss this one.
