Farewell Pam

Brisbane Events Producer, Pam Schryver, passed away this morning. Those of us who were at her final concert on Sunday know what a fitting tribute it was to an amazing lady.
Farewell Pam, Brisbane is going to miss you.
Wine & Cheese Recital - 4th December 2008

Thursday the 4th of December is our last night of band for 2008 - where HAS the year gone already?? We are going to be holding another Chamber Music recital so now is the time to start thinking about what you are going to play.
David has organised a professional piano accompanist for the evening.
Once you have your group and music decided, go to the registration page to sumbit your details to David so the program can be finalised.
The gala concert - a lovely night

A big thankyou to all the organisers of last night's gala concert. It was a memorable event. Also a big thankyou to each band member putting in the effort to bring together a lovely performance. And another big thankyou for a lovely performance from our guests Les Philharmonistes des Pays de Vaucluse who came all the way from france. It was great to meet all of you and to listen to you play.
Congratulations to Wendy on receiveing the RSL's scholarship prize.
See you all at another fun concert today in New Farm park.

23rd October Rehearsal is at St John\'s

Can you believe it? There's only one week to go until our Gala Concert. Next week's rehearsal is at the cathedral. Please make sure you come in full dress uniform as we are also having an official band portrait taken. Reminders will be sent out during the week.
If you are missing ANY part of your uniform - ties, scarves etc, then RIGHT NOW is the time to email or call Helen and let her know. Ok, so if you're reading this at 3am I'd suggest the 'email' option... but you get my drift. These photos are going to be around forever - you don't want to be captured forever in the portrait as the nerd on the end who forgot his tie, yeah? :)
